Sydney Airport – Terminal information

The Sydney Airport includes three terminals that serve all major domestic and international carriers: T1 is the international terminal, and all  passengers will have to undergo immigration verification in the addition to the standard security one. You should also bear in mind when booking your flight that Sydney airport does not allow any planes to land after 11pm and before 6am so if your plane is due to land near to 11pm and is delayed for any reason then you may be diverted to an alternative airport.

T2 and T3 Qantas are the domestic terminals, even if you arrive at either of these terminals on a domestic flight then you will need to undergo standard security checks.

Terminal 1:

There is a whole abundance of restaurants available in Terminal One, from casual eateries such as: The Coffee Club, Hokka Hokka and Pretzel World to family favourites including McDonalds and Hungry Jacks to Taste Of Thai and Top Juice for those who want a healthy option.

Terminal 2:

Terminal 3:

Pie Face and Arrivals Cafe are the Breakfast opportunities at Terminal 3 and if it’s coffee or a snack that you’re looking for then you can find welcome respite at Gloria Jean’s or Hudson’s Coffee Bar.

 

The Gold Ambassador Desk

Passengers who are encountering problems finding their way around Sydney Airport can approach the Golden Ambassadors to offer ask for help or directions. You can identify the Golden Ambassadors by their bright yellow jackets. Their role is to provide a better experience for all visitors, take note that they cannot show you around the airport, or help you with luggage.

Getting Mobile – Buying A Sim Card at Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport – Transportation to Sydney

By shuttle bus If you schedule your trip ahead of time, then you have the chance to buy a ticket for a shuttle bus to the front door of your hotel.
By train While its more expensive than taking the local bus, getting to Sydney by train has the advantage of convenience. To be more precise, the rail stations are connected to the airline terminals to which you can get via pedestrian subways and lifts. However, it can be uncomfortable to travel on the train if you have a few pieces of luggage.
