What’s better way to welcome the New Year 2018 with this iconic racing event lined up for the 1st of January. It will be a fun-filled day of flutes, flutters, fillies and frocks at the Ascot Racecourse, as you party with the masses, watching racing action in style. The Gruffalo Live on Stage

After blockbuster shows across the planet, The Gruffalo will be returning to Australia for a season starting 3rd of January. The show is based on an award-winning book by Julia Donaldson, presented by CDP Theatre Producers, and it dictates the fable of a mouse who wandered through the dark woods. It’s a rhyming story of the monster and mouse, who goes on a walk in deep woods to jolt his enemies. On the way, he creates a fantastical creature known as Gruffalo.

Falls Downtown 2018 – Fremantle

An extensive line up of entertainment and artists await you in Fremantle on the 6th of January, for the 25th annual arts and music festival stretching entire weekend. The second edition of Falls Downtown is here with something more exciting on offer. It will be taking over the Oval Precinct and once more will be including delight, entertainment, vibrant streets and historic sites. Witness your admired headliners under the heritage grandstand, alongside the fanciest beer garden in Western Australia. Once dark, you can flee into the old jail, as it is altered with equipment, dancing and music to transfer you to another world.

Operation Ouch – Live in Perth, Bunbury and Mandurah

The 2-day event scheduled from 19th of January is a perfect educational and humorous show for children. Following their sold out shows, the star duo of TV series, “Operation Ouch” is coming to Perth for a couple of shows. The so-called identical twins of the television have been incredible in executing crazier experiments and medical stunts. The show is packed with interesting facts about biology. There will be some crazy stunts to discover the way medicine works for us. For this act, Dr X and Dr Chris were also nominated for Best Presenter at the BAFTA Children’s Award.

Brain Candy with Adam Savage and Michael Stevens

It’s a collaboration of the YouTube star Michael Stevens and MythBusters host Adam Savage, to put up a theatre show on the 22nd of January. Brain Candy is an inventive theatrical experience that will keep you thinking and laughing for a couple of hours. Michael Stevens is an upcoming star with a background in public speaking and comedy. He is one of the most successful YouTubers with more than 12 million subscribers for his channel. The duo is perfect to host the show, as they are the masters of mind-blowing demonstrations with all their fancy props.

Mount Hawthorn Hawkers Markets

The renowned ‘Mount Hawthorn Hawkers Markets’ is returning to Australia at the Axford Park, with an extensive list of interactive kids entertainment, live music and bustling street food stalls.
