The sixth annual festival of Seven Sisters will take place over a weekend from 3rd to 5th of March at Mt Martha. ANAM 2017

The best medicine that one can have is a dose of music. With an eclectic and unusual musical menu, ANAM is back this year with a stellar line-up of artists performing in a series of 19 concerts and 180 public events starting 4th of March.  Enigma will set the stage on fire with the opening stand of four exceptional orchestral works composed by English singers. Other performers include Radiohead’s guitarist Jonny Greenwood and Ensemble Modern. Starting 9th of March, this workshop invites you for some fun learning experience every Thursday night with an exceptional 4-part harmony. Taking place at the Boronia West Primary School, this introductory workshop is being conducted by East City Sound, an all-women choral society. You will be introduced to the basics of unaccompanied singing with all sorts of voice ranges.

Lost Trades Fair

A two-day event scheduled to be held from 11th to 12th of March at the Kyneton Racecourse, the Lost Trades Fair is all about finding inspiration and skill in the lost traditions of the past. You get an opportunity to interact with over 90 skilled craftsmen practicing their trades including stonemasonry, pinstriping, decorative painting, wickerware, musical instruments, penny farthings, rocking horses, makers of tools, gunsmiths, tinsmiths fletchers, silversmiths, coopers and chairmakers. By showcasing the manual skills and sharing the knowledge, the idea is to inspire the young generation to craft something beautiful of their own, rather than depending on machines.

Donut And Beer Fest

Adding to the never-ending list of food festivals in Melbourne, the Donut and Beer Fest on the 12th of March is a heavenly happening with lots of donuts on offer across the Labour Day weekend.
